6 oz whole wheat flour
0.1 oz baking powder
2 oz egg beaten
0.3 fl oz olive oil
0.1 fl oz vanilla
12 – 16 fl oz non fat milk
1 oz pecans toasted
4 oz peaches sliced

Pecan Waffle with Peach Gastrique

Servings: 4


1. In a large bowl place the flour and baking soda; combine with a whisk. In a separate bowl mix the eggs, olive oil, vanilla, and 12 oz of milk. Add the flour to the mixture. Whisk until a batter forms. Use the remaining milk to adjust the consistency so it pours. Follow the directions on your waffle iron and cook 4 waffles.

2. In a separate plate place a waffle with 1 oz of fresh peaches and 1/4 oz of toasted pecans. Place the Dulci Peach Gastrique on top of the waffle to taste. Repeat this step with the remaining waffles.
